Your function as Area Sales Manager:

As an Area Sales Manager for TRIDEC/JOST Benelux, you will be responsible for the sales activities in all of East Belgium. With a homebase in the TRIDEC offices in Son/ Eindhoven, you can look forward to being frequently on the road, while a certain part of your activity can be done from home office.

The target of your activities will be the OEM truck and trailer industry as well as the workshops and dealers operating in the industry. The focus of the role is the maintaining and improvement of relationships to our existing customers, with some extent of the role being dedicated to business development and acquisition of new and potential customers. You will be part of a team of four in total covering Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with a lot of individual freedom but close ties to JOST organization.

Your Profile:

• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• Experience in technical customer service and/or sales
• Practical experience and at least 3 years of work experience inside the truck & trailer industry or related industries (automotive, agriculture)
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Comfortable with frequent travel or working from home
• Proactive with exceptional communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP

Are you our new Mechatronics System Engineer for our electronic steering systems? We are searching for an innovative, deadline-driven high-level engineer to join our team. Outstanding candidates draw on a wide range of engineering principles and are not afraid to wander into unchartered territory.

Your function as Mechatronics Engineer:

In the role of Mechatronics System Engineer you are positioned at TRIDEC’s R&D department and are responsible for high-level specification setting of our future electronic steering systems. You have a strong analytical mind and can think in solutions. With the help of Matlab you set innovative concepts for your future systems. You have 5 to 10 years’ working experience by preference in automotive or in mechatronics, and are in close contact with our external customers and our Product Manager. You are a strong team-player and feel comfortable in a multi-disciplinary working environment. 

Your Profile:

• 5-10 years’ experience as Automotive, Mechatronics Engineer or similar;
• HBO / TU in Mechatronic, Automotive engineering or similar;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Experience in project management and supplier management;
• Affinity with electronic, mechanic and hydraulic systems;
• Affinity with model-based design (Matlab/Simulink);
• Experience within the automotive industry is a plus;
• Good communication skills, strong team player
• Fluent in English speaking and writing. Dutch and/or German is a plus;
• Full-time available.

Work as an Order Engineer at TRIDEC – an Innovative Organization

As an Order Engineer at TRIDEC, you play a crucial role in translating our customers’ specific needs into tailor-made products that meet all their requirements. TRIDEC, a global leader in steering systems and suspensions, is known for its safe and innovative solutions that optimize unique truck and trailer combinations. You fully understand the complexity of the increasing number of roundabouts, rising traffic congestion, and increasingly compact terrains our customers face. The modular design of TRIDEC systems enables you to provide a suitable solution for every customer.

In this role, you are responsible for registering production orders and related information in the ERP system. Your main task is to process orders according to customer-specific requirements for custom TRIDEC systems. Additionally, you maintain article data and regularly coordinate technical matters with the Manager of Sales Engineering.

During the pre-sales phase, you act as the first point of contact for specific customer requests, always prioritizing customer satisfaction. You also support customers with any uncertainties or issues during system installation.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• At least an MBO level 4 degree and affinity with mechanical engineering or automotive technology
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is a plus
• Knowledge of CAD and ERP systems
• Independence and the ability to carry out all mentioned tasks in consultation with the supervisor
• Attention to detail and responsibility for the timely and accurate execution of all mentioned tasks
• Final responsibility for the correct entry of bills of materials and parameters per work order
• Strong communication skills
• A proactive and service-oriented attitude towards both customers and colleagues
