Sales Engineer

Working as a Sales Engineer at TRIDEC, an innovative organization.

As a Sales Engineer at TRIDEC, you play a crucial role in translating the specific needs of our clients into customized products that meet all their requirements. TRIDEC, a world leader in steering systems and suspensions with safe and innovative solutions, faces the challenge of optimizing unique truck and trailer combinations. You understand the complexity of the growing number of roundabouts, increasing traffic congestion, and the ever-shrinking spaces our clients deal with. The modular structure of TRIDEC systems allows you to provide tailor-made solutions for each customer.

Your main responsibility is to assemble and design customized TRIDEC systems. Using Autocad 2D and 3D Creo, you create detailed installation drawings, incorporating standard TRIDEC components. Compiling Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintaining item data in the ERP system are also part of your tasks. Additionally, you regularly liaise with the Manager Sales Engineering on technical issues and concerns. Recording production orders and related matters in the ERP system is also within your responsibilities. Throughout the pre-sales process, you serve as the point of contact for specific customer requests, prioritizing customer satisfaction. Finally, you provide support to customers in case of any uncertainties or issues during system installation.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in working with CAD systems, including 2D (Autocad) and 3D (Creo).
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken, and a willingness to learn German.
  • MBO education in automotive or mechanical engineering with a successfully completed program and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field.
  • HBO-level working and thinking.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A proactive and service-oriented attitude towards both customers and colleagues.
