Please read this privacy policy carefully before you submit your application data! 

1. General Instructions

In order to apply for a specific position or to send an unsolicited application, it is necesarry to register in our eRecruiting system.

In order to apply for a vacant position, the registration is done by clicking on the link "Apply now" which is found in the lower section of the job advertisement. Subsequently you will be asked to submit your email address and to click on the button "next" to register.

The Privacy Policy eRecruiting applies to the Transport Industry Development Center B.V. (herineafter TRIDEC) established in Son. 

2. Privacy Policy for eRecruiting

TRIDEC ensures the protection of the personal data of the applicant, which is made available to them. Below, we will make known to the applicant how TRIDEC will use this data. The personal data are stored, processed and used as part of the application in accordance with the following provisions and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 3. Scope of this Privacy Policy

The data protecion regulations apply to all personal data in the application that is sent by the applicant to TRIDEC, as well as any other information the can be obtained by TRIDEC from third parties as part of the application process, for example: information from previous employers, references, information from security companies, etc. TRIDEC only processes this personal data as part of the application and only submits it to external companies that are involved in the application process. If this applies, the applicant will be informed about this in advance. 

4. Data storage

The applicant can apply for the vacancies of TRIDEC Netherlands via the online application system. Applications can relate to specific vacancies, internships, graduation theses or as an unsolicited application. The application data is stored in the central database at another part. Your data is therefore provided to our server provider. In addition, we use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for email and other files. We have a legitimate interest in these two transfers because we want to store and process data digitally and outsourcing has various advantages.

5. Data Use

The personal application data will be used by TRIDEC to be able to contact the applicant when starting the application process. But also to check for references. If this is the case, the applicant will be informed in advance as well as afterwards. Once the applicant is employed, the detailds of the applicant can also be passed on to the HR systems of TRIDEC for personnel administration purposes.

6. Restriction of access to the applicant data

Only the HR department and the relevant manager and/or management within TRIDEC have access to the applicant's details. The personal data is udes exclusively for TRIDEC and is not provided or sold to third parties.

7. Data Management

After the applicant has provided the personal data and the application to TRIDEC, this datacan be changed by the applicants themselves. This data is therefore automatically updated in the system. If the applicant wishes to obtain an extract of his/her information or wants to remove personal data from the database, he/she may contact TRIDEC at the specified address or send an email to hr@tridec.com.

8. Your rights

You have the right to ask us to view your own personal data. If there is a reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to change inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request to delete your personal data or to limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data with us. If you think that we are dealing incorrectly with your personal data, you can submit a complaint about this to the organization that supervises the privacy rules: the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can also request us to obtain your personal data or transfer that data to another person. You cannot exercise the above right under all circumstances. For example: if we need your personal data to comply with the law, you cannot object or request an erasure. 9. Cookies

Cookies are used to facilitate navigation on the website and to simplify the registration process. Cookies are text files that are stored by a web server on the hard disk of the applicant. TRIDEC points out, however, that the applicants without cookies may not be able to use all functions of this website. If the applicant visitis the TRIDEC websute to access, read or download information, TRIDEC collects and stores different "visitor information" from the applicant's visit. This includes the name of the domain and host through which the applicant accessed the internet, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer used by the applicant and the data and time of his/her visit to the website of TRIDEC. TRIDEC uses this information to determine the number of visitors to the site and to improve the usefulness of the website.

10. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).

Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files saved on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

However, activating IP anonymisation on this website means that Google will first shorten your IP ad-dress within member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. 11. Storage duration

The personal data of each applicant is generally stored during the recruitment and selection period of the vacancy. Once the vacancy has been filled, the data will be deleted within 4 weeks. With your permission we can keep your data for 12 months to use for other possible vacancies. However, TRIDEC always recommends that every applicant submits personal information and update it as necessary.

12. Changes

TRIDEC reserves the right to change or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time. The effective data of this Privacy Policy eRecruiting will appear at the top of this message. The applicant is advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically, and espacially before entering personal information.
